Hunters and Gatherers

Tasked with designing and making Stone Age weapons and tools, our P5 pupils had great fun in locating some of the natural resources from around our school site before heading back indoors to shape and assemble them. Whilst the classes deepened their understanding of Mesolithic times, they also had lots of opportunities to be develop all those thinking skills and personal capabilities such as being creative, problem solving and working with others. Pupils also created wonderful interpretations of prehistoric cave drawings.
