About St Anne's PTA

St Anne’s prides itself on having a very enthusiastic and energetic Parent Teacher Association.

St Anne’s PTA are a group of mums, dads and teachers who give a little of their time throughout the school year to help us fundraise so that we can provide activities, equipment and experiences for our children which could not otherwise be provided from a normal school budget.

Our main events are the Christmas Fair, Summer Family Fun Day, a Summer Social Event such as a gala ball or barbeque, coffee mornings and our award winning After Schools Club programme. Our PTA activities make a real difference to the school life of our children.

What Are Our Aims?

The main aims of the PTA are to:

raise funds to help the school provide resources and extras for the pupils
run social events for parents and children
provide support for school trips and outings and other special events

In recent years the money raised from PTA events has provided funds to purchase a school piano, playground works including benches and raised beds, prizes for the annual Poetry Parade, catering for First Holy Communion and Confirmation, souvenir T-shirts for Primary Seven pupils and interactive whiteboards.

Where & When Do We Meet?

Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 8pm in The Staff Room, Block D (Junior School). The group is very informal and we always welcome new parents/grandparents and new ideas.

With such a busy calendar we always need plenty of volunteers to help our events run as smoothly as possible. Getting involved takes less time than you think. We’d love to see you at our monthly meetings, but if you can’t make them you can help out in other ways too!
