Science is like magic!

How do you get a balloon to inflate without blowing air into it? This was the challenge set for our young scientists in Primary 3. Through their practical investigation, they now know that when vinegar and baking soda mix together, they produce the gas carbon dioxide which expands up and out of the bottle, inflating the balloon. The reactions, both chemical and pupil, were amazing!
