Our Nursery children were delighted to welcome local police officers this week as part of their topic “People Who Help Us.” The visit gave the pupils a valuable chance to learn more about the important role the police play in our community. The children were especially excited to explore the police Land Rover, taking turns to sit inside and discover some of the equipment the officers use in their daily work. Their faces lit up as they tried on helmets, hats, and high‑visibility vests, enjoying the opportunity to experience what it might feel like to be an officer. We are very grateful to the officers for taking time to visit and share their experience with the children.
