Double Delight

The boys’ and girls’ Gaelic teams triumph again…In an extraordinary display of skill, determination, and teamwork, both our boys’ and girls’ Gaelic teams have clinched the Division A League titles for the second consecutive year. The finals were nothing short of thrilling, with both matches going right down to the wire. The girls’ team showcased incredible skill and determination against St. Ita’s. The match was a thrilling contest, with both teams giving their all. In the end, our girls managed to edge out their opponents, clinching a hard-fought victory that left spectators in awe. The boys’ team, facing St. Michael’s, delivered an equally gripping performance. The boys demonstrated remarkable discipline and teamwork, ultimately emerging victorious in a closely contested battle. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players, who have shown incredible commitment throughout the season.

This double triumph is a source of immense pride for our school. It highlights not only the talent and hard work of our players but also the strong sense of community and support that defines our school spirit. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we held two special assemblies, where the achievements of our teams were honored and applauded. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the coaches—Mr. Teague, Miss Lavery, Mr. Donnelly, and Mr. Murphy—whose guidance and support have been instrumental in helping our teams reach their full potential. Their unwavering dedication has not only shaped our players into champions but also instilled values of discipline and teamwork that will benefit them beyond the field.

Congratulations to our boys’ and girls’ Gaelic teams on this achievement! We look forward to celebrating many more successes in the future. Go Team!
