World Book Day was a vibrant and joyous occasion at our school this year, with pupils immersing themselves in the magic of books through a variety of engaging activities. Students arrived dressed as their favourite characters from beloved stories or comfortably clad in their cozy pyjamas. From Harry Potter to Matilda, and from superheroes to classic fairy tale characters, the lively parades, showcased the incredible creativity of our pupils and parents.
Our older pupils played a special role in the day’s festivities by reading stories to the younger students. This not only fostered a sense of community and mentorship but also created a warm and nurturing environment where the younger pupils could experience the joy of being read to by their older peers. It was wonderful to see pupils of all ages bonding over their shared love of reading.
World Book Day at our school was a resounding success, filled with laughter, learning, and a shared love for books. It was a day that celebrated the magic of reading and the wonderful worlds that books can open up for us all.
