Our Key Stage Two pupils were treated to an exciting and thought‑provoking performance of ‘The Disposables’ Waste Roadshow, facilitated by Belfast City Council. The brand‑new show, aimed at Primary 5–7 pupils, transformed our school hall into a lively, interactive learning space bursting with humour, creativity, and important environmental messages. From start to finish, the children were captivated by the energetic cast and the fun, hands‑on moments that invited audience participation. As the characters explored how everyday waste affects our environment, pupils gained a clearer understanding of why reducing waste matters and how small actions can make a big difference. The themes of responsibility, care for the environment, and mindful decision‑making tied in beautifully with our school mission.
We are grateful to Belfast City Council and the talented cast for bringing such an engaging and meaningful learning experience to our pupils. It was a wonderful opportunity that sparked curiosity, conversation, and a renewed commitment to looking after our shared planet.
