Carols and Kindness

In the true spirit of Christmas, Mr Murphy’s Primary 5 pupils recently visited Railway Lodge Care Home to bring joy and festive cheer to its residents. The visit was filled with warmth, laughter, and plenty of holiday magic.

The children delighted everyone with a wonderful selection of Christmas carols and songs, singing with enthusiasm and heart. Some pupils showcased their musical talents by playing instruments. The atmosphere was truly uplifting, and the residents couldn’t help but join in the festive fun. However, the most meaningful moments came from simple conversations. Pupils spent time chatting and listening to the residents’ stories, sharing smiles and creating connections across generations. It was a beautiful reminder of how kindness and companionship can brighten lives.

This visit not only brought happiness to the residents but also gave our pupils an opportunity to experience the joy of giving and the importance of community. A big thank you to Railway Lodge for welcoming us so warmly, and to our Primary 5 pupils for making this Christmas extra special!
