You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child!

Our Nursery are participating in the ‘Big Bedtime Read’, one of the initiatives funded by the Early Intervention Transformation Programme.

It focuses on supporting parents to read regularly to their children at bedtime and on encouraging good bedtime routines. It also aims to increase parents’ awareness of reading opportunities throughout a young child’s day.  With home-lending packs distributed, it is time for our nursery pupils to get tucked up in bed, with a book in hand. Afterall, ‘reading gives us somewhere to go when we have to stay where we are’.
