Bishop Farquaar and Bishop Treanor led the celebration of confirmation on Thursday 16th March, assisted by Father Mc Grady and Father Mc Carthy. Our Primary Seven pupils were proudly joined by their sponsors, relatives and parish community as they received the gifts of the Holy Spirit, becoming adult members of the Church. Soloists, gift bearers, readers carried out their roles with reverence and poise.
The beautiful singing and musical accompaniment, impeccable behaviour, thoughtful prayers and interactive homily made the experience a very spiritual and meaningful one. There was a tremendous buzz in the Parish Centre afterwards as everyone gathered for refreshments and photographs. A truly memorable occasion for our whole parish community!
