Pupils from P5BM lifted the ‘Seamus Heaney Award for New Writing’ in this year’s Community Arts Partnership and Poetry in Motion Competition. This year’s competition theme was ‘Our World: Our Words’. Working with the Northern Irish Poet, Martelle McPartland, via Zoom, the class produced a variety of poems; group and individual – one of which was the award-winning poem ‘Our World of Possibilities’.
