Our pupils were inspired to fundraise for the charity ‘Trocaire’ meaning compassion. Following assemblies which presented the diverse life stories of young people and their famlies from the developing world and the challenges they face, our pupils organised a sponsored walkathon. All year groups took part, with some accessorising for the occasion. The heavy downpours and hailstone showers did not dampen the children’s spirits! At the last count, £1,465 had been raised. We thank everyone for their generosity!
