St. Anne’s are participating in the ‘Basketball Ireland: Junior NBA competition’ and have been matched with the famous ‘Los Angeles Clippers’. Wearing their sponsored ‘Clippers’ kit with great pride, they will compete against Moira P.S. and St. Teresa’s P.S. on 29^th November at Queen’s PEC. At this tournament, five lucky players will be selected to attend a festival of basketball in the National Basketball Arena in Dublin. As well as competing with children from 30 other clubs, they will also get the chance to meet some NBA players. A huge thank you to Breda and Carla from Phoenix Basketball Club for their continued support and providing us with this amazing opportunity. And now it is time to stand tall, talk small and play ball!
