Staying safe

The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) visited each of the P5 classes to educate them on how to keep themselves, and their families, safe from fire. Pupils discussed how to prevent accidental fires happening in the home and completed lots of other activities from their interactive safety packs. Their teachers were also set a challenge – how quickly could they get themselves dressed as firefighters. Let’s just say they shouldn’t give up their day jobs! With all the serious information discussed, the pupils then got the chance to use the fire hose!
