Nothing was going to stand in the way of our pupils celebrating World Book Day!

Taking inspiration from various authors and illustrators, pupils spent the day: listening to and sharing stories with loved ones, creating book theatres, redesigning book covers, writing book reviews and character profiles, story sequencing, drawing comic strips, going on book scavenger hunts, illustrating character selfies…and much much more!

With the combined themes of ‘books’ and ‘fun’, we hope all our pupils were reminded that being between the pages of a book is a wonderful place to be….no matter where you are. ‘You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back relax, all you need is a book.’
