Primary 7s have an art attack!

A group of P7 pupils were given the special challenge of creating a large scale mosaic. Working under the direction of two professional artists, Mrs Denton and Mrs Mc Garry, (aka Anna’s mum and Meg’s mum) they worked tirelessly to make sure every tile was placed with precision.

The design of the mosaic centres around an oak tree which represents St. Anne’s as a place of life and love, a place of personal growth. The symbols incorporated highlight our school ethos; our school family and the close partnership between home, school and parish, our faith, our talents and our inclusive welcoming pupil-centred environment.

As you can see the finished piece looks spectacular and will adorn the main reception of our school in Block D. Watch this space!
