P5AON learnt to speak and sing some German when they welcomed Conor, a Lower Sixth-year student from Rathmore. Conor who participated in the UK-German Connection Programme was thrilled at the opportunity to pass on some of his knowledge and experiences.

As well as being taught some basic vocabulary, the pupils were given an insight into aspects of German culture and what life is like for German children of the same age. A great learning opportunity for both Conor and the pupils from Miss O Neill’s. Gut gemacht!
