Our School Councillors stepped through the grand doors of City Hall for a special audience with Lord Mayor Tracy Kelly. The visit began in the Lord Mayor’s Parlour with a warm welcome and a shared pizza lunch.
Before the trip, pupils prepared thoughtful questions based on our school values, asking how these values influence and shape the Lord Mayor’s work. Pupils then received a guided tour of City Hall, exploring its historic rooms, visiting the chamber where councillors meet, and even trying on the ceremonial robes. The experience gave them a fascinating insight into local government and civic duty.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Lord Mayor Tracy Kelly and her team for their generous time, warm hospitality, and for giving our councillors an experience they will never forget.
