Girls’ Gaelic Team bow out with heads held high!

Our Girls Gaelic team met St. Bride’s Primary School in the semi-final of the Belfast Championships. Led out by our captain Katie Walsh, the first half was action packed, both teams putting on a great display. When the referee blew his whistle at half time it was a draw!

After some refreshments and a team talk by Mr Gribben, our girls headed out determined once again.  St. Bride’s however managed to edge out in front after a few early goals.  Despite their best efforts, our girls couldn’t close the gap, with St Bride’s going on to win the match. We wish them good luck in the final.
