Party Politics

The senior members of St Anne’s School Council attended a workshop on Citizenship. This was facilitated by the Education Team of the Northern Ireland Assembly. Pupils participated in a mock election between four parties; The Technology Party, The More Sports in School Party, The Pet Party and The Travel Party, putting forward manifestos as part of their campaign.  It was a very interactive way to explore the need for rules in society, how laws are created and our rights and responsibilities as members of a community.
