Crumb-diddly-umptious

P4s baked a delicious apple crumble with fruit grown in our very own school garden. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed picking the ripened apples, relieved to have got their share before our resident apple-robbing squirrels.

Sleeves were rolled up and hands were washed before the ingredients were prepped and popped in the oven under the watchful eye of Master Chef, Mrs Scullin. It wasn’t long before the apple crumble was ready, the mouth-watering smell wafting its way down the corridors. The dessert was served and it was then out into the afternoon sunshine to enjoy the ’fruits of their labour’!
